Nurgül Yeşilçay — Biography

Nurgül Yeşilçay was born in 1976 in Afyon.

She completed her education in the Theatre Department at Anadolu University in Eskişehir.

She first stepped into her career in 1998 with the series İkinci Bahar.

She experienced a turning point in her career with the character Bahar, whom she portrayed in the series Asmalı Konak, where she shared the leading role with Özcan Deniz, and she became widely known to everyone.

She also took part in important projects such as Belalı Baldız, Aşk ve Ceza, Sultan, Bebek İşi and Paramparça.

In 1998 she also entered the world of cinema and appeared in many films.

She will portray the character Kösem Sultan in the series Muhteşem Yüzyıl Kösem to be broadcast on Fox TV.
