Pedro Alonso — Biography

Pedro González Alonso (born 1971 in Vigo, Galicia) is a Spanish actor active in film, television, and theater who also works as a writer and painter. He graduated from the Royal School of Dramatic Art (RESAD) and also trained at, and later taught at, the Teatro de la Danza. He appeared in numerous Spanish series from the mid-1990s onward, drawing national attention in 1997 for playing Raúl in Todos Los Hombres Sois Iguales. He became known across Spain for portraying Diego Murquía in Gran Hotel, while his worldwide fame rests on playing Andrés "Berlín" de Fonollosa across Money Heist and the spin-off series that followed it. In 2018, Turkish GQ magazine named him its International Star of the Year.
