Çıldırtan Kadın

Çıldırtan Kadın, also known as Sevmek mi Ölmek mi?, is a 1978 crime melodrama directed by Çetin İnanç, in the erotically tinged Yeşilçam vein of the era. A happily married woman, played by Zerrin Egeliler, loses her child during a quarrel with her husband that is stirred up by her mother-in-law's false accusations. Her husband is sent to prison and she is committed to a psychiatric hospital. After escaping, she falls in with a band of fugitive convicts who turn out to be her husband's former fellow prisoners. Turgut Özatay also appears in the cast.
