Dönence is a Turkish youth romance drama produced by D Media, directed by Serdar Gözelekli, with a script co-written by Nuray Uslu, Banu Yılmaz, Hamza Akyıldız, Ebru Hacıoğlu, İbrahim Güler and Melek Ordu. The show is a Turkish adaptation of an Israeli series. At its center is Gece, a teenager preparing for university who dreams of making music with her boyfriend, but her family relocates to Foça after her sister, who has special needs, struggles with adjusting to city life. There, Gece meets Özgür, an instructor at her sister's sailing club who has devoted himself to raising his younger brother, diagnosed with Asperger's syndrome, since losing their parents in a fire. Their growing bond pushes both of them to reconsider how they approach life, and things get complicated once Gece's boyfriend follows her to Foça. The series premiered on Kanal D in July 2023 and wrapped up after roughly three months on air, in October. The cast includes Emre Kınay, Caner Topçu and Sümeyre Aydoğan.
