Everyone's Sweetheart (Herkesin Sevgilisi) (translated)

Herkesin Sevgilisi ("Everyone's Sweetheart") is a 1970 Turkish film directed by Nejat Saydam. The screenplay was written by Saydam together with Bülent Oran, the cinematography was by Melih Sertesen, the score was composed by Teoman Alpay and Metin Bükey, and the film was produced by Acar Film.

The story follows an aging conservatory teacher who quits his post after a run-in with a spoiled student and shuts himself away at home to compose. While travelling in search of inspiration, he becomes captivated by a young woman who introduces herself as Zeynep, both by her voice and her presence; she passes herself off as a shepherd girl, though she is actually one of the city's best-known society beauties. Türkan Şoray plays Zeynep opposite Tanju Gürsu as Metin Alpay.
