Kalp Atışı is the Turkish remake of the 2016 South Korean hit Doctors, first reaching Show TV audiences on June 30, 2017. The show was produced by MF Yapım and directed by Yusuf Pirhasan, mixing drama, romance and a hospital backdrop into its storyline.

The narrative traces Eylül, a girl who kept skipping school and causing trouble as a child, prompting her father to send her off to live with her grandmother. Years later, grown-up Eylül crosses paths again with her former teacher Ali Asaf, and the feelings that grow between them become the show's emotional core, unfolding alongside medical cases inside the hospital where much of the action takes place.

The series wrapped with its final episode on January 28, 2018. Gökhan Alkan and Öykü Karayel lead the cast, supported by Selahattin Paşalı, Ege Kökenli, Başar Doğusoy, Ali Burak Ceylan and Merve Çağıran.
