Los hombres de Paco

Los hombres de Paco is a Spanish television series created by Daniel Écija and Álex Pina and produced by Globomedia. It began airing on Antena 3 on 9 October 2005 and follows the misadventures of three clumsy but good-hearted national police detectives: Paco Miranda, Mariano Moreno and Lucas Fernández. What started as a comedic spoof of the Spanish police force gradually evolved into a drama-thriller with touches of humour, mystery and even paranormal elements across its run. The main cast included Paco Tous, Pepón Nieto and Hugo Silva, joined by performers such as Michelle Jenner, Adriana Ozores and Neus Asensi. The original run ended on 19 May 2010. More than a decade later, Atresmedia announced a continuation, and a new season - with several returning cast members - was broadcast in 2021, split into two blocks of eight episodes. In total, the series comprises ten seasons and 133 episodes, making it one of the best-known Spanish police comedy-dramas of its era.
