Antena 3 aired the Spanish police series Los hombres de Paco (Paco's Men) from 9 October 2005 to 19 May 2010. Created by Daniel Écija and Álex Pina and produced by Globomedia, it follows three national police detectives, Paco Miranda, Mariano Moreno and Lucas Fernández, whose adventures are clumsy but good-hearted. It runs to ten seasons and 133 episodes.

The series began as a parody and caricature of the Cuerpo Nacional de Policía; as it went on the weight shifted to thriller, with comedy reduced to touches. Mystery and paranormal elements also appear. Paco Tous and Pepón Nieto lead the cast. A love story between Lucas (Hugo Silva) and Sara Miranda (Michelle Jenner) runs alongside the police cases. Adriana Ozores and Neus Asensi are also in the cast.

After its first run the series was dormant for over a decade. On 22 April 2020 Atresmedia announced that a continuation was in preparation; Paco Tous, Pepón Nieto, Carlos Santos and Neus Sanz were confirmed, and Hugo Silva and Michelle Jenner announced their returns. The tenth season, 16 episodes split into two blocks of eight, aired from 10 May to 16 December 2021.
