Mariana Cordero — Biography

Mariana Cordero is a Spanish actress and acting coach from Seville who has appeared in more than thirty films and television series since the 1980s. Early in her screen career she drew attention with the film Solas (1999), and went on to appear in the series Padre coraje and Los Serrano.

She is most widely recognized for playing Begoña Espinosa in La que se avecina and Teresa García in El accidente, and her film credits also include The Heart of the Earth (2007), The Bride (2015) and The Influence (2019). Alongside performing, she has long worked as a teacher of other actors, and she is regarded as one of the experienced character actresses of Spanish film and television.
