Alone (Tek Başına) (translated)

Tek Başına (Alone) is a 1976 Turkish crime-action film directed by and starring Cüneyt Arkın. Kemal, an ordinary office clerk, is forced to leave his car on the street one night when it breaks down on his way home. That same night, a major drug trafficking ring commits a murder near the spot where the car was abandoned. Commissioner Murat tells Kemal that his testimony could bring the entire network down. However, the organization has already eliminated every previous witness who dared to speak against it. Kemal nevertheless agrees to testify, which immediately makes him the syndicate's next target and plunges his quiet life into mortal danger. Pouri Banayi and Eşref Kolçak co-star, with supporting turns by Yılmaz Gruda and Yüksel Gözen. The screenplay was written by Mehmet Aydın, and the music features contributions from Bora Ayanoğlu and Barış Manço.
