Ufuk Bayraktar — Biography

Ufuk Bayraktar was born on 12 September 1981 in Istanbul. After finishing high school he began working at his father's coffee house in Cihangir, where director Zeki Demirkubuz discovered him in 2003. He took his first step into acting in 2000 with the series Tirvana. In 2006 his performance in Demirkubuz's film Kader earned him the Best Actor award at the 26th Istanbul Film Festival. He became widely known for playing the younger version of the character Ramiz Dayı in the series Ezel, and later played Dağıstanlı in Vatanım Sensin and appeared in Sevda Kuşun Kanadında. In film he has appeared in Dağ, Dağ 2, Çanakkale 1915, Bu Son Olsun and Miraç, and in more recent years he has appeared in the Dayı: Bir Adamın Hikayesi film series as well as in Güven Bana and Benim Babam Bir Kahraman.
