Uğur Yücel — Biography

Uğur Yücel was born in 1957 in İstanbul.

He completed his education in the Theatre Department of the İstanbul Municipal Conservatory.

The master actor Uğur Yücel, who took his place on stage with stand-up and one-man shows in 1977, worked with various groups such as Tef Kabare Tiyatrosu, Kenter Tiyatrosu, Dormen Tiyatrosu and Şan Müzikholi.

In 1984 he made an important entrance into his career with the film Selamsız Bandosu.

In 1994 he took his place in the world of television for the first time with the series Aziz Ahmet, and appeared in the series Familya, Aramızda Kalsın, Aşk ve Ceza, Kolay Gelsin, Canım Ailem, Hırsız Polis and Karanlıkta Koşanlar.

He is part of the cast of the series İçerde, broadcast on Show TV, whose lead roles are shared by Çetin Tekindor, Bensu Soral and Çağatay Ulusoy, and portrays the character of Kudret Sönmez.
