Aşka Ruhunu Kat

Aşka Ruhunu Kat (Soul Kitchen) is a 2009 German-French comedy-drama directed by Fatih Akın. The story centres on Zinos, who struggles to keep his shabby Hamburg restaurant, Soul Kitchen, afloat. When his girlfriend leaves for the Far East, he hires a gifted but volatile chef and leaves the place in the hands of his ex-convict brother, whose reckless choices push everything toward a sweet chaos. Featuring Birol Ünel among its cast, the film won a prize at the Venice Film Festival.
