Umut Oğuz — Biography

Umut Oğuz was born in 1977 in Ankara.

After completing his education in the Tourism and Hotel Management Department of Anadolu University, he was discovered while working as an entertainer at a holiday resort and received theatre training.

He had his first acting experience with the series Güneş Yanıkları, in which he appeared in 2000; he has acted in many projects such as Üvey Baba, Adanalı, Emret Komutanım, Acı Hayat, Yalancı Romantik, Kertenkele and Boynu Bükükler.

In the series Bahtiyar Ölmez, broadcast on ATV, whose cast includes many names such as Yetkin Dikinciler, Hande Subaşı, Güven Hokna, Serkan Kuru, Orhan Aydın, Semih Öztürk, Gözde Okur, Hazal Şenel and Fatma Karanfil, he plays the character Şinasi.

Umut Oğuz also stepped into the world of cinema by appearing in the films Figüran, Süper İncir, Size Deniz Getireceğim, Koğuş Akademisi, Delisin Delisin, Bana Bir Soygun Yaz, Umut Adası and Tramvay.
