Yeşim Salkım — Biography

Yeşim Salkım was born in İstanbul in 1968.

She completed her education in the Classical Turkish Art Music Department of the State Conservatory of İstanbul Technical University.

In 1994 she released the album Hiç Keyfim Yok and made a strong debut.

She released the albums Ferman in 1995, Yoktan Geliyorum in 1997, Hep Böyle Kal in 2000, Vefa Borcu in 2001, Ayna in 2005, Bazen in 2006, Casablanca in 2007, Sen Nasılsan Öyleyim in 2008, 7. in 2009, İstanbul'da Aşk in 2010 and Bizim Şarkımız in 2012.

In 1996 she had her first acting experience with the series Eşkıya.

She took part in the series Ateş Dansı, Fosforlu Cevriye, Şarkıcı, Seher Vakti, Deli Mavi, Babam Çok Değişti, Sessiz Gemiler, Huzur Sokağı and Kocamın Ailesi.

She is part of the cast of the series Evlat Kokusu, broadcast on Kanal D, whose lead roles she shares with Hande Soral, Barış Kılıç, Murat Han and Sedef Avcı, and she portrays the character Hünkar.
