Aras Bulut İynemli — Biography

Aras Bulut İynemli is one of the most talked-about young lead actors of Turkish television and cinema. As Yamaç Koçovalı in Çukur he won the 2018 Golden Butterfly for Best Actor, and as Memo in 7. Koğuştaki Mucize he fronted a film that broke viewing records in Turkey. Playing Mustafa Kemal Atatürk in Atatürk 1881-1919 earned him a Best Actor nomination from the Turkish Film Critics Association. In 2026 he began filming Netflix's Eve Giden Yol.

He came to acting while still studying engineering: after Beşiktaş Anatolian High School he read aeronautical engineering at Istanbul Technical University. He appeared in commercials and had a small part in Arka Sokaklar; when a commercial in which he played an Italian footballer caught director Zeynep Günay's eye, he was called in for Öyle Bir Geçer Zaman Ki. His role as Mete Akarsu made him known nationwide and won him Best Supporting Actor at the 2011 Antalya Television Awards. In 2013 he led Mahmut ile Meryem, was named a promising actor at the Sadri Alışık Awards for his part as İhsan in Tamam mıyız?, and played Şehzade Bayezid in Muhteşem Yüzyıl.

Later he played Sarp Altan in Maral: En Güzel Hikayem and both Mert Karadağ and Umut Yılmaz in İçerde; Çukur (2017-2021) became his longest-running work. 7. Koğuştaki Mucize was also well received on Netflix in France and Latin America. He then played Devran Karan in Deha. His brother Orçun İynemli is a stage actor, his sister Yeşim İynemli a presenter and singer, and Miray Daner is his cousin.
