Emir Benderlioğlu — Biography
Atıf Emir Benderlioğlu was born on 28 October 1979 in Ankara and studied in the Graphic Design Department of the Faculty of Fine Arts at Hacettepe University.
After appearing in the short films 4 Saat (2004) and Bukalemun (2006), he made his feature debut in the 2007 film Adem'in Trenleri. That same year he joined the long-running series Kavak Yelleri, and he also took roles in Sessiz Fırtına, Ayrılık and Keskin Bıçak.
He appeared in Yer Gök Aşk (2011-2012) and in Galip Derviş and Osmanlı Tokadı in 2013, continuing his film work with the Deli Dumrul pictures and 2014's Panzehir. He played Sezgin in a long stint on the series Arka Sokaklar and took roles in Dağ 2 (2016), Eşkiya Dünyaya Hükümdar Olmaz and Fi (2017).
He appeared in the film and series versions of Börü (2018) and in Aman Reis Duymasın (2019), and in 2021 and 2022 joined Barbaros, Börü 2039, Tuzak and Yılbaşı Gecesi.
