From a family of Russian and German descent, Dedova grew up between Kazakhstan and Turkey. The turning point was Mahmut ile Meryem (2013), adapted from a novel by the Azerbaijani writer Elchin Efendiyev.
In the next phase she moved towards period dramas: Tatya in Kurt Seyit ve Şura, Ece in Kanal D's Babam ve Ailesi, and Victoria in Mehmetçik Kut'ül Amare. In 2020 she played Catherine Brankovic in Rise of Empires: Ottoman.
