Hümeyra — Biography
Hümeyra Akbay was born in 1947 in İstanbul.
She stepped into the music world with her album titled Anlatamıyorum, which she released in 1970.
The master performer, who has released many records and albums, has worked with numerous famous names.
In 1970 she also stepped into acting; she has taken roles in many projects such as Annem Uyurken, Muhteşem Yüzyıl, Melekler Korusun, Avrupa Yakası, and Sıla.
She is part of the cast of the series Paramparça, broadcast on Star Tv, whose lead roles are shared by Ebru Özkan, Erkan Petekkaya, Barış Falay, and Mine Tugay, and she plays the character Maide.
