İsmail Hacıoğlu — Biography
İsmail Hacıoğlu was born on 30 November 1985 in İstanbul; he began performing in school plays as a child and trained at the Müjdat Gezen Art Center's Theatre Department.
He is the son of Mehmet Hacıoğlu, coach of Turkey's national under-18 football team, and his sibling, Kardelen Hacıoğlu, also works as an actress; he won the Antalya Golden Orange Film Festival's Promising Young Actor award for his 2002 role in Karşılaşma, and the Sadri Alışık Award for Best Actor for Çakal in 2010.
Beyond films such as Vali, Kabadayı, Sınav, Anlat İstanbul and Meryem, he portrayed Naim Süleymanoğlu in Cep Herkülü and appeared in the war drama Ayla.
He plays the character Nejat in the series Kayıtdışı, broadcast on Fox TV.
