Jasna Beri — Biography

Bosnian actress Jasna Beri is best known for playing Sabina in Grbavica, a film addressing the aftermath of the Bosnian War. Born Jasna Ornela Bery on 2 January 1954 in Zenica, she has built her career largely out of Sarajevo.

Active in film, theatre and television since 1975, she has appeared in more than forty movies, including Cirkus Columbia, Children of Sarajevo, On the Path, Snow, In the Land of Blood and Honey and Dobro ustimani mrtvaci, establishing herself as one of the familiar faces of Bosnian cinema.
