Silent Gunpowder

Silent Gunpowder (Gluvi barut) is a 1990 Yugoslav war drama film directed by Bahrudin Čengić, also known as Bato Čengić. The film is an adaptation of the novel of the same name by Branko Ćopić.

The cast includes Mustafa Nadarević, Branislav Lečić, Fabijan Šovagović, Mira Furlan, Boro Stjepanović and Josip Pejaković, with Zijah Sokolović also among the performers. Shot in Serbo-Croatian, the film stands as one of the late productions of Yugoslav cinema, released just before the country's breakup.
