The Tour

The Tour is a 2008 Serbian war film that Goran Marković both directed and wrote. Filming got underway in late 2007 in Republika Srpska, with scenes shot in Šamac, Derventa, Prijedor and Kozarska Dubica, and wrapped by the end of February 2008. The picture had its domestic premiere on October 8, 2008 at the Sava Centar's main hall in Belgrade, while its international bow took place earlier at the Montreal film festival. Serbia put it forward as the country's official entry for the Best Foreign Language Film category at the 2009 Academy Awards, though it ultimately failed to make the shortlist of nominees. The ensemble cast includes Mira Furlan, Emir Hadžihafizbegović and Svetozar Cvetković.
