Summer in the Golden Valley

Summer in the Golden Valley (Bosnian: Ljeto u zlatnoj dolini) is a 2003 drama from Bosnia and Herzegovina, written and directed by Srđan Vuletić and produced by Ademir Kenović, with a score by Edo Maajka.

The story follows a sixteen-year-old boy who, after his father dies, is left responsible for settling the man's debts. Struggling to raise the money, he and his closest friend are pulled into Sarajevo's criminal underworld, where the stakes grow increasingly dangerous. The film won the Golden Tiger, the top prize at the Rotterdam International Film Festival. The cast includes Svetozar Cvetković, Emir Hadžihafizbegović and Miraj Grbić.
