Julien Courbey — Biography

Julien Courbey is a French actor born on 12 March 1976 in Toulouse; he began his career in the mid-1990s with Les Anges gardiens and quickly became a familiar face in French comedy cinema.

His characters have included Nico Pasquali in Old School, Kader in The Race, Yekea in Chouchou, Johnny Leclerc, alias Abdel Bachir, in Once Upon a Time in the Oued, Gaby in Beur Blanc Rouge, Karim in Journey of No Return, and David in Un Marocain à Paris. He reached a wide audience with Neuilly sa mère! in 2009, appeared in Beur sur la ville in 2011, and returned as Jérôme in its 2018 sequel, Neuilly sa mère, sa mère!.

Over his career he has also won the Valois de l'acteur award, given for French-language film performances.
