Khalifa Natour — Biography
A Palestinian citizen of Israel, Khalifa Natour was born in the mid-1960s in the town of Qalansawe in Israel's Triangle region and trained at the Beit Zvi School for the Performing Arts, where he played roles such as Othello and Timon of Athens in student productions before graduating in 1991.
Since then he has performed on stage across Israel, the West Bank and abroad, including alongside Makram Khoury in Peter Brook's 11 and 12, a play inspired by the life of the mystic Tierno Bokar; this long stage career earned him the Israel Theater Prize.
On screen he has appeared in Rana's Wedding (2002), The Band's Visit (2007), The Inheritance (2012), Lorraine Lévy's The Other Son (2012) and Dancing Arabs - A Borrowed Identity (2014), and in 2020 he took one of the lead roles in the third season of the Netflix series Fauda.
