Melike Güner — Biography

Melike Güner is an actress from the stage who has worked in television series, cinema and theatre for years, and is best known for playing Zenan in the series Doktorlar (Doctors). In 2016 she was named Most Successful Actress of the Year (Drama) at the Sadri Alışık Theatre and Cinema Actor Awards, and in 2025 she played Muteber in the series Sustalı Ceylan.

She graduated from the Theatre Department of Istanbul University State Conservatory in 2002. Her screen career opened in 2000 with series such as Hayat Bağları, Çiçek Taksi and Dadı; she played Çağla in Mahallenin Muhtarları, Sonay in Ekmek Teknesi and Zeynep in Kızlar Yurdu. The turning point was Doktorlar in 2006: she became known as Zenan and in 2012 joined the cast of Merhaba Hayat with the same character. In these years she also appeared in Kılıç Günü, İffet and Böyle Bitmesin.

In cinema she appeared in Organize İşler (2005); her first leading role was Duygu in the drama and romance film İncir Reçeli (2011), a character she continued in the sequel İncir Reçeli 2 (2014). She played Bahar in Labirent (2011). In later years she appeared in the series Yalancılar ve Mumları (2021) and Ömer (2023-2024). On stage she has performed in plays such as Salaklar Sofrası, İnkâr Ediyor and Cam Yapraklar, and she has also worked as an assistant director.
