Ozan Akbaba — Biography

Ozan Akbaba (born 9 June 1982, Kars) is a Turkish actor. He graduated from the Interior Architecture and Environmental Design programme at Akdeniz University's Faculty of Fine Arts. His television career began in 2005 with the series Kırık Kanatlar, followed by a small part as a bartender in Kavak Yelleri. He went on to play Zafer in Cennetin Sırları and Sümer Tezkan in Kuzey Güney, and appeared in the comedy programme Güldür Güldür and the series Arka Sokaklar.

Between 2015 and 2021 he starred as İlyas Çakırbeyli in the long-running ATV series Eşkıya Dünyaya Hükümdar Olmaz, which brought him wide recognition. He later took the lead in the medical drama Kasaba Doktoru, appeared in the film Anka and joined the cast of the series Uzak Şehir. Alongside acting, he has composed scores for numerous short films, and in 2014 he made a brief appearance in a music video for the singer Sıla.
