Özcan Deniz — Biography

Özcan Deniz was born in Ankara in 1972.

Özcan Deniz, who sang in orchestras from a young age, founded his own orchestra called Mavi Deniz at the age of 14.

In 1989 he went to Germany, and while working as a soloist in clubs, his life changed in an instant when a producer heard him, and he returned to Turkey.

In 1992 he released his first album, titled Yine Ağlattın Beni. In 1993 he became known with his album Meleğim and managed to reach the goal he had aimed for.

He released the albums Beyaz Kelebeğim in 1994, Yalan Mı? in 1997, Çoban Yıldızı in 1998, Aslan Gibi in 2000, Leyla in 2002, Ses ve Ayrılık in 2004, Hediye in 2007, Sevdazede in 2009 and Bi Düşün in 2012.

Özcan Deniz, who is also an actor, took roles in the series Asmalı Konak, Haziran Gecesi, Samanyolu, Bir Zamanlar Osmanlı, Karagül and Kaderimin Yazıldığı Gün.

Özcan Deniz, who also works as a director, brought the films Evim Sensin, Su ve Ateş, İkinci Şans, Sevimli Tehlikeli and Ya Sonra, which he wrote and directed, to the big screen.

He is part of the cast of the series İstanbullu Gelin, which airs on Star Tv and in which he shares the lead with Aslı Enver, and he plays the character Faruk.
