And Then What? (Ya Sonra)

Ya Sonra (And Then What?) is a 2011 Turkish romantic comedy written and directed by Özcan Deniz, who also stars in the film. Produced by Warner Bros., it opened in Turkey on 25 February 2011.

The story follows Adem and Didem, a couple reaching the seventh year of their marriage. After a string of failed business ventures, Adem returns to his old profession as a veterinarian and, caught up in his daily routine, gradually grows distant from his wife. Didem, who once sacrificed everything for love, is deeply unhappy with this neglect and considers reviving the career she set aside for the marriage. Just then, a man who may be the one she has been seeking all her life crosses her path, sending the couple's life in an unexpected direction.

Deniz Çakır plays Didem opposite Özcan Deniz as Adem, with Barış Falay, Aliye Uzunatağan, Fatma Toptaş and Janset in supporting roles. Entering the Turkish box office at number two on its opening weekend, the film ranked among the most-watched Turkish productions of 2011.
