Patrycia Ziółkowska — Biography

Patrycia Ziółkowska is a Polish-born theatre, film and television actress who works in Germany. She is best known for three films by Fatih Akın: Solino (2002), The Edge of Heaven (2007) and The Cut (2014). She also appeared over the years in Tatort, one of Germany's longest-running police series.

On German television she appeared in series such as Wolffs Revier, Stubbe – Von Fall zu Fall, Küstenwache and Die Rettungsflieger. Among her early film work are Anam and Vorspiel mit Nachspiel (both 2001). In Akın's Solino she played Jo, and in his The Edge of Heaven she played Charlotte "Lotte" Staub. In later years she appeared in German productions such as Underdogs (2007, as Famke Preminger), Häuserkampf (2009, as Anja) and Ein Schnitzel für drei (2009).

In the 2010s she worked in both German and Polish productions, among them Willkommen im Klub and Hiszpanka (both 2014). Her work on Tatort runs from 2002 to 2016.
