Ankara Express (Ankara Ekspresi)

Ankara Ekspresi (Ankara Express) is a 1970 Turkish drama film adapted from Esat Mahmut Karakurt's novel of the same name. Directed by Muzaffer Arslan, it stars Ediz Hun and Filiz Akın, with Leyla Sayar, Kadir İnanır, Bülent Oran and Aliye Rona also appearing in the cast. The screenplay was written by Bülent Oran, who is also among the film's actors.

At the 1971 Antalya Golden Orange Film Festival, the film won five Golden Orange awards, including Best Film, Best Director, Best Actress (Filiz Akın), Best Screenplay (Bülent Oran) and Best Cinematography (Cengiz Tacer). It holds the distinction of being the first color film ever to receive the Golden Orange for Best Film.
