Çözülmeler

Çözülmeler is a 1994 Turkish film written and directed by Yusuf Kurçenli. It was released on 6 May 1994.

Uğur, who earns his living as an accountant, struggles to adapt to the social values shaped in the wake of the 12 March and 12 September coups. He is also coming to terms with the guilt he carries for having drawn his brother into politics and thus led to his execution, and he is writing this inner reckoning as a novel. His encounter with Nihal, who is going through similar troubles and whose husband is imprisoned for a political offence, brings the two closer together. However, pressure from those around them and the release of Nihal's husband push their relationship down a different path.

The cast of the film includes Tarık Akan, Nurseli İdiz, Savaş Dinçel, Mehtap Anıl, Metin Yıldırım, Münir Akça, Arif Erkin and Hülya Arslan.
