Velvet

Velvet, originally titled Galerías Velvet, is a Spanish drama series created by Ramón Campos and Gema R. Neira and produced by Bambú Producciones for Antena 3. Set in the late 1950s, it follows the love story between Alberto Márquez, heir to one of Spain's most prestigious fashion houses, and Ana Ribera, a seamstress who lives and works there. Paula Echevarría and Miguel Ángel Silvestre lead the ensemble cast.

The series premiered on 17 February 2014 and ran for four seasons, ending on 21 December 2016, with a budget of roughly 500,000 euros per episode. Filming took place at the Atresmedia facilities in San Sebastián de los Reyes and at various locations around Madrid. In 2017 a sequel series, Velvet Colección, was announced with Marta Hazas heading the cast.
