Meriç Aral — Biography

Meriç Aral is an actress who turned to acting after studying law and became known for playing Hale in Medcezir. She then spent 2017-2019 in the main cast of Star TV's Söz as Eylem Mercier. Besides acting she also hosts a podcast. Her birth year is given as 1988 or 1990 depending on the source.

She comes from a family of lawyers and graduated from the Faculty of Law at İstanbul Bilgi University, with a minor in comparative literature. After her legal internship she worked briefly as a film assistant and took lessons at the Craft acting workshop and with Bahar Kerimoğlu. She first went in front of the camera in 2012, when she was invited to test shoots for the series Sultan. After Medcezir she appeared in Çağan Irmak's film Unutursam Fısılda; Muska, Hesapta Aşk, Cingöz Recai: Bir Efsanenin Dönüşü and the series Yüksek Sosyete belong to the same period.

After Söz she took part in the films Yanımda Kal and, in 2020, Biz Böyleyiz, and played Doctor Ayşe in Kırmızı Oda, Helin in Kaderimin Oyunu, and Irmak in Sandık Kokusu, along with Yakamoz S-245. She married actor Serkan Keskin in September 2024, and their son was born in 2025.
