Rockmond Dunbar — Biography
Rockmond Dunbar was born on 11 January 1973 in California, and studied at Oakland Technical High School before attending Morehouse College and the University of New Mexico.
He first drew notice playing Baines in the science-fiction series Earth 2 on NBC, and as Kenny Chadway on the Showtime drama Soul Food. He is best known for the role of Benjamin Miles "C-Note" Franklin, an inmate character in Prison Break, which began in 2005 and returned for a fifth season, appearing alongside Wentworth Miller, Sarah Wayne Callies, Dominic Purcell and Robert Knepper.
His later television work includes playing Sheriff Eli Roosevelt on FX's Sons of Anarchy. He also portrayed FBI Agent Dennis Abbott in the series The Mentalist, took the part of FBI Agent Abe Gaines for the Hulu drama The Path, and played Michael Grant on 9-1-1. His film credits include Highland Park, Edge of Fear and Son Damla, and he has also worked as a producer and director.
