Baldız (The Sister-in-Law) is a 1975 Turkish comedy film directed by Temel Gürsu, from a screenplay by Suavi Sualp and Erdoğan Tünaş. Kadir İnanır and Müjde Ar star, supported by Ali Şen, Mete İnselel, Renan Fosforoğlu, and Zeki Alpan.

The story follows Hasan, the eldest son of a modest family, who comes back to Turkey after working in Germany. On his return he learns that his father, without telling him, has promised him in marriage to a daughter of Şükrü Arnamus, a wealthy local notable. Hasan objects at first, but after seeing the beautiful Naciye and assuming she is his intended bride, he accepts the arrangement. At a dinner he is stunned to discover that Naciye will in fact be his sister-in-law, since he has been betrothed to her older sister.

While trying to escape the mix-up, Hasan cannot stay away from Naciye, and the two become intimate during a picnic. Matters spiral further when Naciye turns out to be pregnant, and her father sets out to find the man responsible, leaving Hasan trapped in an ever-worsening tangle of misunderstandings.
