Bodrum Tale (Bodrum Masalı) (translated)

Bodrum Masalı is a single-season teen romance-drama that TMC Film produced for Kanal D, running from the summer of 2016 to the summer of the following year across forty-two episodes. Mehmet Ada Öztekin directed the whole run, while Başar Başaran and Emre Özdür shaped the scripts together.

The plot uncovers a second life kept hidden in Bodrum by Evren Ergüven, an ambitious hotel-chain owner whose wife and children believe he only leads a glamorous existence in Istanbul. A string of bad business calls drives him into bankruptcy, pushing the family into a modest Bodrum house that turns out to be nearly all they have left; there they learn that the other half of a small hotel belongs to his wife's former fiancé. Old secrets and past romances then resurface, tangled up with a side of Bodrum the children never knew existed.

Timuçin Esen, Şevval Sam, and Murat Aygen take the lead roles, joined by Nejat İşler, Dilan Çiçek Deniz, Hilmi Cem İntepe, Bige Önal, Ezgi Şenler, Serhan Onat, Barış Yalçın, and Serel Yereli. Kanal D chose not to renew it and no other broadcaster picked it up, so the story wrapped after a single season.
