Celal and Ceren (Celal ile Ceren) (translated)

Celal ile Ceren is a 2013 Turkish romantic comedy film directed by Togan Gökbakar, with Şahan Gökbakar serving as screenwriter and producer. Produced by Çamaşırhane Film, it was released in Turkish cinemas on 18 January 2013.

Promoted with the slogan "Everyone has a Ceren," the film follows a couple who have been together for about six years. Celal, a tradesman working in his father's shop in Karaköy, and Ceren, a department manager at a large hardware store, see their marriage plans collapse after an argument over a bachelor party, and both face unexpected experiences following their separation. Şahan Gökbakar and Ezgi Mola share the lead roles.

Critics largely compared the film to Gökbakar's Recep İvedik series, and some accused it of sexism. It also made headlines when organized online voting campaigns briefly pushed it to the top of IMDb's "Worst 100" list.
