Halime'den Mektup Var

Halime'den Mektup Var is a 1964 Turkish film. The story begins with five comrades-in-arms who fought side by side against the enemy in the War of Independence and, before parting after their discharge, vow to come to one another's aid in times of hardship. Years pass; when one of them is beset by three toughs who menace his daughters and spread fear through the town, he calls on his old friends. But they too have grown old, and decide to send their grown sons in their place. The cast features Ahmet Mekin.
