Wind (Rüzgâr) (translated)

Rüzgâr (Wind) is a 1980 Turkish drama directed by Cüneyt Arkın from a screenplay by Safa Önal. Bekir lives a comfortable life with Emel, a famous singer, until Deliormanlı Davut, the man he once betrayed and sent to prison, is released and comes looking for revenge. Hoping to eliminate the threat, Bekir hires hitmen to kill Davut, but Davut escapes the ambushes and turns the hunt around. Rather than killing Bekir outright, he chooses to torment him by making him live every second in fear of death. In the middle of this vendetta, an unexpected love develops between Davut and Emel, a woman abandoned by her own husband. The film stars Emel Sayın and Cüneyt Arkın, while singer İbrahim Tatlıses appears as himself.
