Senede Bir Gün
Senede Bir Gün is a 1946 Turkish melodrama directed by Ferdi Tayfur. It tells the poignant story of Nazlı and Emin, who endure suffering and illness for the sake of their love; Nazlı falls ill with tuberculosis on account of that love. One of the notable productions of the early years of Turkish cinema, the film was later remade in 1965 and again in 1971. In the lead, Cahide Sonku, one of the era's foremost stars, plays Nazlı, with a cast that also includes Cahit Irgat, Hulusi Kentmen and Halit Akçatepe.
