Letter from the Dungeon (Zindandan Gelen Mektup) (translated)

Zindandan Gelen Mektup ("Letter from the Dungeon") is a 1970 Turkish war film directed by Sırrı Gültekin from a screenplay by Sadık Şendil. Shot in black and white with an 86-minute running time, it stars Ayhan Işık, one of the legendary leading men of Turkish cinema, alongside Mine Mutlu.

The film belongs to the later stretch of Işık's career, during his long run as a fixture of Yeşilçam productions.
