The Stubborn Bride (İnatçı Gelin) (translated)

The Turkish film İnatçı Gelin ("The Stubborn Bride") was made in 1965 and shot in black and white on 16 mm. A sentimental comedy, it is adapted from a work by Sadık Şendil.

Cüneyt Arkın plays Metin and Selda Alkor plays Ayşegül. Hüseyin Baradan appears as the cantankerous Ağa (Huysuz Ağa), Münir Özkul plays Büdü, Tanju Okan plays Edi, Meriç Başaran plays Cilveli and Leyla Altın plays Kezban. Hüseyin Zan and Ahmet Karaca appear as the men of Huysuz Ali. Abdurrahman Palay dubbed Cüneyt Arkın, Handan Kadıoğlu dubbed Selda Alkor and Sadettin Erbil dubbed Hüseyin Baradan.

Director Sırrı Gültekin also produced the film, and Safa Önal wrote the screenplay. Metin Bükey composed the score, Rafet Şiriner was the cinematographer and Metin Miroğlu edited. Tanju Okan is credited for the songs, with a composition credit for Şekip Ayhan Özışık. Hüseyin Zan was production manager, Kadir Çakar set supervisor, and Kemal Özçimen and İsmet Özçınar production assistants. Gültekin Film and Uğur Film are among the production companies, and Ender Film handled lighting.
