Humayun Tebrizyan — Biography
Humayun Tebrizyan, born Mohammad-Ali Tabrizian, was an Iranian film actor best remembered for his performances in Topoli and Soltan-e Ghalbha. He was born on May 5, 1937, in Mashhad; although some sources mistakenly list Tabriz as his birthplace, his official records confirm Mashhad.
He built momentum during the prolific second half of the 1960s in Iran's commercial film industry, appearing in dozens of productions within a decade. In the early 1970s his filmography crossed into Turkey with releases such as Adsız Cengaver, İki Esir, Güzel Şoför, and İşportacı Kız. He kept working steadily on screen through the end of the 1970s.
Humayun Tebrizyan died on July 18, 2025, at the age of 88.
