The Most Beautiful Woman in the World (Dünyanın En Güzel Kadını) (translated)
Dünyanın En Güzel Kadını is a 1968 Turkish "Yeşilçam" drama-romance produced by Acar Film. It was directed by Nejat Saydam from a screenplay by Erdoğan Tünaş, with cinematography by Melih Sertesen and music by Metin Bükey.
At the center of the story is a beautiful young woman who cannot find peace wherever she works, contends with jealous rivals, and dreams of becoming a successful singer — all while secretly in love with a wealthy, well-known shipowner she never quite gets the chance to win over. Shot in color with a running time of 92 minutes, the film stars Türkân Şoray, Muzaffer Tema, and Bedia Muvahhit.
