When will the sun rise? (Güneş Ne Zaman Doğacak) (translated)

Güneş Ne Zaman Doğacak ("When Will the Sun Rise") is a 1977 Turkish drama with historical and political overtones, directed and produced by Mehmet Kılıç from a screenplay by Tufan Güner and made by Orhun Film. It follows two refugees fleeing an oppressive regime in search of freedom in Turkey, starring Cüneyt Arkın and Oya Aydoğan in the lead roles. The film is also remembered for being the one screening at the Çiçek Sineması cinema on 19 December 1978, the night an explosive was thrown into the venue during events regarded as marking the start of the Maraş Massacre.
