Fearless Warrior (Korkusuz Cengaver) (translated)

Korkusuz Cengaver (Fearless Warrior) is a 1976 Turkish historical adventure film written and directed by Duygu Sağıroğlu. The story follows Şahin Bey, played by Cüneyt Arkın, who falls victim to a vicious slander plot devised by Anton and his sister. Surviving an attempt on his life, Şahin Bey takes on the name Kara Hilal and becomes a relentless threat to Anton and his men. Along the way he crosses paths with his estranged son Sencer, who does not know that Kara Hilal is his own father and, believing the slanders, despises him. When Sencer is captured by Anton, Şahin Bey sets out to rescue him; he frees his son but is taken prisoner himself and loses his sight. Undeterred, he learns to shoot arrows guided only by sound, and in the final confrontation he uses this very skill to settle accounts with Anton. The film features music by Erkin Koray and cinematography by Muzaffer Turan.
