Murat and Nazlı (Murat İle Nazlı) (translated)

Murat İle Nazlı is a 1972 Turkish romantic drama directed by Memduh Ün from a screenplay by Duygu Sağıroğlu. After finishing medical school, Murat returns to his village; caught in heavy snow on the road, he takes shelter in a house that turns out to belong to Hıdır, his family's blood-feud enemy, and is thrown out — but not before falling in love with Nazlı, who lives there.

Despite the hostility of their families, the two young people keep meeting, and Murat eventually decides to abduct Nazlı, only for a trap set by his own relatives to tear the lovers apart. Produced by Uğur Film and shot in Burdur, the film stars Cüneyt Arkın and Fatma Girik, with Aytaç Arman also in the cast.
