Necmettin Çobanoğlu — Biography
Necmettin Çobanoğlu was born on 1 March 1953 in the Refahiye district of Erzincan. He began his film career with Yılmaz Güney's Sürü and Kanal, both released in 1979, and reached wider recognition through his role in Güney's 1982 film Yol. Over the following four decades he appeared in numerous films including Eve Dönüş, Firar, Güz Sancısı, Sır Çocukları and Kuzu, along with series such as Asi, Azad, Benim Adım Gültepe and Benim İçin Üzülme. He played the character Mahmut in the series Aşk ve Mavi, broadcast on ATV.
