We Are All Brothers and Sisters (Hepimiz Kardeşiz) (translated)

Hepimiz Kardeşiz, also known as Sıkı Dur Geliyorum, is a 1965 Turkish drama directed by Ülkü Erakalın. The screenplay is by Hamdi Değirmencioğlu and Bülent Oran. Produced by Erakalın and Kadri Yurdatap, the film is a co-production of Ülkü Film and Pesen Film and runs about 72 minutes.

The story sets a city-bred teacher who has a primary school built in a village against villagers who, afraid of the landlord, burn the school down. The film works love, grudges and fighting into that frame. Cüneyt Arkın plays Teacher Ahmet and Hülya Koçyiğit plays Elif, with Tamer Yiğit (Murat), Aliye Rona (Nazlı Ana), Semih Sezerli (Âşık Garip) and Hasan Ceylan (Kara Yusuf) also in the cast.

Menasi Filmeridis was the cinematographer and Özdemir Arıtan the editor; Semih Sezerli also served as art director.
